Hood House

Set on a generous inner-city block, Hood House is a residential project currently underway.

With over half of the original dwelling removed, a contemporary addition is taking shape along the southern boundary—providing contrast to the original weatherboard home, while other areas blend seamlessly with the existing structure.

A north-facing extension runs through the site, housing a new pantry, kitchen, and dining area, all flooded with natural light from high-level glazing. The form adapts to its surroundings, creating privacy at ground level for the neighbouring property through a battened pergola and slatted screen.
