The Park Road residence was completed in 2023 and is located in the leafy northeast suburb of Park Orchards, Victoria.

The building design accommodates a generous site setback to both the south and north, while the structure spans the width of the site, allowing for the incorporation of traditional verandas along both the south and north elevations. These verandas offer outdoor viewing spaces, providing views of both the streetscape and the private backyard. The central gable volume rises 6 meters tall and houses the social areas of the home: Entry, Kitchen, Dining, and Lounge. Although the private spaces are generous in size, they maintain a simplicity in their construction approach.

The new home is clad in cement sheet horizontal weatherboards, requiring minimal maintenance, while the building’s footprint is highly insulated to offer thermal efficiency and acoustic protection across this large site.
